Apple Watch app is just terrible

The only thing that works is the notifications. Other than that, I have the following issues:
- share button on Watch flat out does nothing
- news feed does not update on Watch. Im still seeing stories from months ago
- Selecting a news notification does not take you to the specific story on iPhone 6+
